So glad Jada Pinkett Smith did a video regarding race, at a time when our country is being testing at the heart level. I feel so strongly about it because I have the privilege to live without paying the physical price of obtaining civil rights…as a human being, it is always my responsibility to live above the confines of the ism’s.
Judgement and Persecution is a nasty act. It is a behavior unrelated to our God given wonderful shades of people. An indulgence in judgement and persecution is sinful, at times criminal, and down right wrong. I believe that! But, I do not believe in racism. That would require me to involve my existence with the sadistic perpetration of the wrong doer. I can not comply.
Because I am too beautiful. I am wonderfully made. I will never allow my skin tone to be utilized a reason you acted against me. If you violate me, that’s on you…never on my chocolate as can be. How I respond to that violation…that’s on me! My job is to seek victory! I believe sin is sin! Like anything sinful, some people will take pleasure in! So Tragic! No matter what shade we are, it’s tragic.
I have had my black card taken, and been called the “N”….. word and none of that will ever matter to me, because I’m free! Free to be me! That’s the dream! I’m privileged to be Awesomely me!
I hope you watched the video in the link above. As I’m really proud of Jada’s mom because she has recognized her responsibility to work from within! Sadly this is where many of us are unwilling to go. On both ends of the spectrum the unwillingness to let go of what we know is wrong is just daggering to your own life…so, why do we do that? idk!
I thank God for the expert on the panel because too many people don’t understand racism is truly a myth So nice move Jada, for having someone who could expose the reality of what I think we all know intuitively and socially. When you operate from here…freedom can really ring!
We manifest what we believe. Because of this, I refuse to participate in perpetrating a lie. We are all human people. One Love. One Life. One race.
Make no mistake about it, we are mean to each other. We all have been guilty of watching others hurt in silence. Remember when the expert asked the all white audience to stand up if they would like to be treated the way blacks are treated in this country? Then she calls them out as witnesses to injustices, and they know nastiness happens therefore is complicit. I loved that part…because it exposes the fact that nobody cares if it’s not happening to them. We can be nasty, judgmental, and horribly violent. I do believe silence is an contributor to violence and we all have a part to play. Something has to be done about horrible cops getting assigned to guns.
But when it comes right down to it, skin tone is not the issue. Sadistic behavior is the issue. So in the famous words of Iyanla Vanzant…let’s call a thing a thing! Anyone who get’s off on projecting their insecurities onto others are simply Nasty Asses! I will still pray for you, but please leave my perfectly created skin out your foul perpetrated acts of violence. I don’t buy into that…you were just being a nigger!
